After months of rain on the East Coast of Australia, this amazing double bill proved to be the perfect winter escape to the tropical, peaceful surrounds of Daydream Island in the Whitsundays.

TLE on fire

The undeniable energy of a Living End performance was demonstrated second after their gig started. Suddenly those beanbags in the VIP area were no longer seats but more like beachballs as the crowd jumped to their feet to dance and sing up close to the stage. A nod from the boys on stage towards concerned security said it all, don’t worry – we got this!

Phil in full flight

Phil Jamieson lent his own special energy to his performances, sharing the full selection of classic tunes from Grinspoon as well as his more recent solo tracks.

Of course with so much talent and energy on the same island in the tropics – it was no surprise that stages were shared with Phil and the Living end combining for some mahem and tunes as the sun set behind the islands.

The Living End and Phil Jamieson both played 2 highly energetic sets over 3 magical evenings.

Every single fan who attended left mind blown and vowing to do everything they can to get over to the Maldives next year for the the next Music In Paradise event with The Living End.
